Important Places Of Hua Hin To Visit

Hua hin is located at 200Kms southwest of Bangkok. It is roughly at 3 hours drive from Bangkok. Hua hin is known as the most historical and traditional beach resort of Thailand.

In 1920 a summer palace was built here by King Rama VII. This is the famous historical palace which gets the attention of every visitor in hua hin. Some other important places of Hua Hin are:

Railway Station Of Hua Hin:

This was built by King Rama VI. This is a railway station and this railway station is the station of most beautiful trains of Thailand. Thai people feel very proud of this railway station.

Hua Hin Arts and Crafts Centre:

This is an historical common house that was built some 80 years ago. It is the place where various beautiful collections of contemporary works of artists of Thailand are placed. It also contain historical furniture and many snaps of history of hua hin.

Klai Kangwon Palace:

Klai Kangwon Palace (also known as summer palace) was built in the government of King Rama VII in 1926. It is located in the north of Hua Hin. The palace is really a beautiful building with three mansions (Spanish style) facing towards the sea. Public can visit this palace daily from morning to evening now a days.

Khao Takiap:

In the south of Hua hin is located the Khao Takiap hill. It is 4 km away form hua hin and easily approachable. A road is there that leads you to the top of Kaho Takiap hills. Bungalow accommodation is offered at the nearby beach.

Ko Singo:

Suan Son Pradipaht or Sea Pine Tree Garden:

Namtok Pa La-u:

This is a very beautiful waterfall. This is located inside the verdant forest. Different kinds of birds are present here. Especially in the morning you can see beautiful butterflies and other beautiful birds that increase the beauty of this place. It is made up of 11 tiers of rocks. It is at 63 km from hua hin. Local transport is available for the visitors to reach there.

Sam Roi Yot national Park

At the 63 km south of hua hin, is located Sam Roi Yot National Park. It is spread on an area of 98 sq. km. There is the range of mountains (lime stone), beaches and mangrove swamps here. Very beautiful local and migrated birds are found here especially in the moths from November to February. If you want to find the park just follow the direction boards which tell the direction and also the remaining distance to the park, throughout the way.
