How to Get Started Kiteboarding
Taking classes from a qualified instructor is necessary for the beginners.
You should try working on your board skills for a day or two. SO try to fly with both od you feet, so if you get succeeded then you can learn quicker otherwise you will take some time.
STEP 2: First Lesson: Here you will be taught few safety skills and systems. Now if anyone really has the passion to learn quickly then he should stop behaving like a shy person. Anything which is not clear he should discuss with his instructor and this is the key to learn quick.
STEP 3: Second Lesson: Once you get the three hour kitesurfing lesson, you will surely have the basic knowledge. Now you know how to setup, launch and fly a kite. Now you will get those techniques into the water and will do body surfing, advanced kite control and water-starts. Once you ride and then you will be staying upwind, by continuing all this for at least four days you will start jumping, riding to side and turning.
THE kiteboarding WATERSTART To start the kitesurfing, the player needs to dive the kite. This is done in order to get the power and be on the plane. This step is called waterstart. After heading of water starting, now the kite rider tries to move the kite in such a way that the direction of the blowing wind and kite is perpendicular to each other. This step is called staying upwind. This is usually the first step which every new player needs to learn. After one is skilled in this basic step then one can move to other advanced skills like work “upwind”.
Some Points to Remember: Please make sure that you really want to learn this game. This is not the ordinary game which can be played by every one. This is the game of brave people. If you are afraid of risks and shy then first of all throw these things off. Without courage and without enjoying the risks, it is really hard to be a good and successful player of kiteboarding. |
