Tail Grab Trick
Tail grab is said to be semi-advanced kite boarding trick that is rather more difficult than basic tricks. However if you compare it with other advanced tricks like single back roll and other similar kind of difficult tricks, tail grab is not much difficult. This is the reason why, it is recommended to learn this technique before moving forward to other advanced techniques. This technique (Tail grab) may allow you to feel more comfortable with controlling your kite board firmly and steadily.
In this article, we are going to tell you how you can display tail grab trick convincingly. At first, you are required to speed up till you get the essential speed and power. Then, you have to jump in air and begin flying. At this time, you should keep a stable position (upright) while going forward. You can make small movements, however it is advised to maintain a stable and upright position. If a kite boarder maintains this position during tail grab technique, it means his body should be positioned nearly perpendicular to waterline.
If you are flying forward during the tail grab technique, you should grip back of the kite board with the hand, which is in the backward direction. Let us now brief you about some of the basic differences between the right side tail grab technique and the left side tail grab technique. Let us first discuss the right side tail grab. When a kite surfer moves forward with his right hand placed in forward direction but his left hand gripping the back of his kite board, then he is said to be using right side tail grab techniques. Now, let us discover the concept of the left side tail grab technique. If the kite boarder is moving ahead with his left hand placed in forward direction but his right hand gripping back of his kite board, then he is said to be performing left side tail grab trick. If the kite surfer is a right-handed person, then it would be quite easy for him to use right side tail grab techniques. On the other hand if the kite boarder is a left-handed person, then obviously he would prefer to perform a left side tail grab trick because as a left-hander it would be quite easy for him to perform a left side tail grab trick as compared to a right side tail grab technique.
