Launching your kite
As a kite-surfer you are required to learn some of the basics to get yourself moving. You must know how to launch your kite in a smooth and simple manner either from on the coast or in the water. You are required to learn to get it flying back otherwise your kite may get away from you or even crash.
Launching from the beach
IF you are willing to take air early, it is advised that you must have an expert and skillful kite boarder with you. First of all you have to get your kite up. Then you should slowly inflate it. Then you have to pull it upwards and get on board, your helper would give you the reigns, because you are on your board upright. So, now if you have successfully started flying the kite, you have to get ready to face unexpected things. So this is the reason why it is recommended to take an assistance kite-surfer with you, because he may have the better idea to deal with all sort of unexpected situations.
Launching from the water
As you are a new kite-surfer, so there is a big possibility for you to unable to control your kite and it may suddenly get away from you. You have to use quick release bar to get away from a certain bad incident and to save neck. You would need to airborne your kite again after getting the kite reattached to the bar and back. You would surely imagine that it is not easy for you if you are at the distance of almost thirty feet from the coastal area and you are expecting help from the other corner of the beach. Inflatable kites are specially designed to get back the kite and running again with minimal effort. Once the kite is aloft, just swing back into action and make sure to launch from a safe area. It is recommended to get your kite on its side so that your kite may catch the air underneath it. You should pull the lines towards “flight window” or open area and should adjust the top line, slowly, for take off. This should be done with great care so that the lines are not crossed or twisted which will be another problem for you. To avoid this situation, you must practice this exercise as much as possible.
