Shorter lines are recommended to use in heavy kite boarding, as using short lines make this sport quite easy for the surfer. Another plus point of shorter lines is that they would give you more stability in the sport. When you would begin to start shorter lines, jumping will be a problem for you. But if you carry on your practice then soon you will master it. In this way you would become very good in jumping and you will begin to jump more higher with heavy air kite boarding as compared to any other form of this sport.
For heavy air kite boarding, it is encouraged to use slower kites, because using these kites it is easy to handle the heavy air. For this form of kite surfing, both your kite and the board must be stable. And using a shorter control bar is not a bad idea. Keep in mind this fact that your security is the main concern.
