Koh Phangan / Koh Samui Kiteboarding Center

These two islands is truly a tropical paradises in the southern gulf of Thailand. The islands is surrounded by white sandy beaches and a core of tropical jungle. At these two islands there are numerous beaches suited for kite surfing depending on the season, wind direction and tide. Our main school are located on Ao Baan Tai beach at Koh Phangan Island. This beach has the parameter a true kite beach should have. There are also plenty of restaurants for you to enjoy some cold refreshments and food during your day of kite boarding.

Whether you are situated on Koh Samui or Koh Phangan we tailor the best possible solution for you. If we need to transfer you to another island or another beach all this is included in the price.

The operating period of our school in Koh Samui and Koh Phangan are from September until approximately March. During that time, wind direction varies, and so do the places we teach / kite on. As both islands are circular with beaches on all sides, there will always be a place to kite. Several places the kite beaches are protected by a reef 200 - 400 meters out, making the water inside the reef flat as the a mirror.

Accommodation

The school are located directly on the beach inside Koh Phangan Beach resort. This resort offer affordable, but yet new and good quality bungalows. On both Koh Samui and Koh Phangan there are also numurous other alternatives for all budgets. Check out the accommodation overview for more details

Getting to Koh Samui / Koh Phangan

• Air: From Bangkok there is only one airline company that fly to Koh Samui. Bangkok Airways have many daily flights from Bangkok and other locations in Thailand. To get to Koh Phangan there is an additional 10 - 15 minutes boat ride

• Train: Daily trains are leaving from Bangkok to Chumpon. An additional boat trip will then take you to the islands

• VIP Bus: Several buses leave every day From Bangkok to Surat Thani Ferry terminal. The bus will follow the ferry to Koh Samui / Koh Phangan and take you to various places on the islands. The VIP buses are of very good quality with entertainment and refreshment on board

• Van: Similar to Buses, but with less people on board.

Alternative activities on the islands

You will never be bored on Koh Samui or Koh Phangan. Before or after the wind starts, or in the few days with no wind you will have many activities to choose from. Here is just a short list:

Nightlife

WOW you would say! Koh Samui and Koh Phangan offer great night life with hundreds of bars and clubs offering all kinds of music and fun.
