Best time to Visit Chiva-Som
Thailand is popular due to its seasonal weather. This country has got three different kinds of seasons i.e. Rainy, Warm and Cool seasons. Let us discuss here that if you want to visit Chiva-Sorn then in which season you should plan your visit and which season can give you the most of the outcome in the view of entertainment as well as relaxation.
March-June: (The Warm Season).
Temperature:
In this period of four months the temperature remains warm in the days as well as in the nights. The average temperature revolves around 28C. The level of humidity remains to be high. As this season is considered to be a warm season so the average rainfall in this season is about 2.5 inches.
Conditions:
During this season sun shines brightly and mostly the sky is blue. Sometimes you will observe clouds and pleasant breeze blows in the afternoons.
Beach:
At Beaches of this region tides remain high, but most of the beaches are open. In afternoon, cool breeze starts to blow to bring small waves at the beach. So the beaches here create an ideal atmosphere for water sports. Kite boarding is the most popular water sport in these beaches.
Festivals:
The Thai New Year Calendar starts on April 13. The people here make three days celebration for the New Year Festival that begins on April 13 and ends at the 15th of this month. This festival is named as "Songkran". It is a traditional festival in Thailand. People throw water at each other and make fun to celebrate this festival. Parades are also arranged on the occassion.19th April is Chiva-Som's birthday which is also celebrated with full enthusiasm.
July-October:(The Rainy Season ).
Temperatures:
This period is the rainy season and the weather is warm but quite pleasant. During this season nights are often remain to be cool. The average temperature is around 28C. And the average of rainfalls is almost 3.7 inches.
Conditions:
In the rainy season the mornings gives an ideal picture with sunny or a bit cloudy. But the afternoons are cloudy than the mornings. It does not rain daily in this season and if it rains then it is not for a very longer period of time. It does not rainfall heavily in Hua Hin.
Beach:
Mostly the beaches here are having low tides. But still there are a lot of beaches which have high tides. During the mornings sea is mostly calm.
Festivals:
This season does not have any important local festival.
November-February (The Cool Season)
Temperatures:
During this season days remain mild. But the nights are quite cooler. The average temperature here during the cool season is almost 26C with 1 inch of rainfall.
Conditions:
During this season you will not see much of rainfall so the sky mostly remains blue. But the days are not as warm as they remain to be in the warm season.
Beach:
The beaches here have much higher tides. And there are waves along with the winds which is ideal for body surfing.
Festivals:
At the beginning of November Thai people have a very important festival called "Loi Krathong". This festival has very special celebrations and especially very attracted to the visitors. At this festival candles are beautifully decorated to float in the sea, rivers, lakes etc and people make wishes for luck and better future with a hope that their wishes would come true.
The early December is considered to be the King's Birthday. During this occasion parades and special parties are arranged. And still lots of celebrations are remaining in this month like the western festivals of Christmas and New Year. A big number of western visitors come here in this season so both the festivals are celebrated in a beautiful and attractive style.
