Weather in Koh Samui
If you are planning to visit Sumai then come whenever you have time throughout the year because its weather would not disappoint you. The best season for the visitors may be From December to February; at that time the temperature is good and moves around 30C. This season is liked by almost all the western visitors. Because in December they can view some tropical downpours and these months are quite cooler than the other nine months of the year. Light breeze continues to blow in the season and the seas remain quiet and clear.
Summer season starts at the beginning of March and it remains till the end of June. The temperature in this season touches 40C and which is really very severe. This season see only a few showers and sometimes one can observe that there is no rain throughout this season of four months. And this leads to the water shortages in the area. In the month of May there occur some thunderstorms and winds starting to blow.
As the calendar enters into the month of July, the temperature starts going down. And now there is a season with a monsoon touch. This season starts in July and ends at the end of September. Visitors really enjoy visiting Sumai in these months because weather is cooler and there they see lots of days of heavy rainfall with pleasant storms. But still sun does not go far away and shines pleasantly in these months. So cool winter with shining sun, visitors are really pleased in this period.
October and November are the months of rains. These months get the highest percentage of rainfalls as compared to other remaining months of the year. But still it does not rain daily. In Samui you will not see prolonged rainy season. And rains here are not predictable. And in the wettest periods you will not see more than two days without sun.
Thai culture on Samui
Thailand has a very beautiful culture and one can not imagine visiting it without having its impact over himself. This part of world has quite specific but attractive culture. And it surely attracts the visitors who come here for enjoyment.

Samui was known as a harvesting backwater of coconut. Major portion of the people are Muslims.
